First of all: Thank you so much for being here!

Hi, I’m Daniela (as you might have guessed from the name of this site), but you can call me Dani. Because if you made it this far, then you must be a very special person!

Before I created this bilingual blog about “Cultural Travel in Europe” at the end of 2019, I confess that I was already in love with this travel niche. If there’s one thing that fascinates me in life, it’s discovering a new historical destination to add to my bucket list, whether it’s a city, town, or village!

Although I’ve never left Europe and have only visited 13 countries, I’ve been fortunate to travel a lot and for as long as I can remember – first with family and then with friends. Still, I prefer to travel alone and that is something I’ve been doing more and more often since I was 20 years old!

But, after all, what will you find on this website? Well, I can say that my biggest inspiration for photographing and writing about travel is the “Historical and Cultural Heritage in Portugal and Europe”.

In other words, not only will you be able to read dozens of itineraries to fascinating places in Europe, but you’ll also find guides dedicated to all types of monuments: archaeological sites, castles & palaces, gardens & parks, museums, religious temples, and World Heritage!

I hope you enjoy following my adventures!
